Jennifer Holland

Over the years, I’ve worked extensively in the tourism and cruise industry in roles for cruise and hotel brands that have allowed me to grow and led me to establish myself as a leading international researcher and consultant.

My areas of expertise are marketing, consumer insight, risk communication and management, and brand and product development - with a focus on the cruise sector. I offer freelance custom research or expert advisory roles in one-off or longer-term projects and media commentary. My research and expertise has been featured in international and national media, in both consumer and industry publications.

I am a member of the Royal Geographical Society and Travel and Tourism Research Association, Secretary for the Geographies of Leisure & Tourism Research Group, and a reviewer for the International Journal of Maritime Research.

Originally from Alberta (Canada), I now call Norfolk (UK) home and being married to a seafarer, you'll find me cruising as often as possible.  I achieved a PhD from the University of Brighton and I am a lecturer in tourism at the University of Suffolk.
